I’ve been in business for myself for 8 years, and during that time, I’ve really struggled to wrap my head around how to share about myself and my work online.
Anytime I go to share, I feel a familiar instinct. It wants me to smooth things out any imperfections, keep it a little more neutral, a little more contained. Make it easier for more people to receive, understand and less likely to be questioned or misunderstood.
When I stay in that middle range, I don’t have to risk too much. I don’t have to expose the parts that feel harder to explain or fully own yet. I can stay polished and in control of what people see.
I’m really working on reprograming this instinct, because I know from the work I do with my clients this grayed-out version of you that holds back is rarely the one that makes a successful, sustainable brand.
What I do know that connects and resonates is when someone creates a brand in full spectrum expression. From the version of themselves that feels most alive and deeply resonant.
It doesn’t mean you have to be bold or edgy or completely figured out. It doesn’t mean you need to share everything or be constantly “on.” It just means you’re letting yourself be a human being in the process of creating from a richly colored place… instead of performing a more muted controlled version of things.
Your Intuition Checkpoint…
Where are you graying yourself out right now?
What would it look like to bring just a little more full spectrum you into that space?
Cheers!

Archetype Insights
The energy of The Lover encourages us to see things through a full spectrum lens.
The Lover shows us that full spectrum living isn’t about doing more or becoming something else, it’s about being in relationship with the richer, fuller experiences of life. That living and creating from that space is so much more meaningful than a dulled, dingy lens.
