Ready Brand Notes

Your brand’s “welcome mat”—how’s it looking?

A brand pulse check for building aligned brands with clarity, personality, and substance.

⚡️ The Pulse Check

This week, we’re pulse-checking for how well you welcome people into your work.

In a world where so much marketing feels transactional, the brands that deeply resonate are the ones that offer a sense of belonging—the ones that treat people like people, not just leads in a funnel.

Welcomes happen at every brand touchpoint (whether you are being intentional about it or not.

Each point is a chance to say:

“You’re in the right place. This is going to be great. I’m so glad you’re here.”

✨ What We Can Learn from Everybodys

Everybody energy is about inclusion, warmth, and genuine connection.

It puts people at ease by making them feel seen, included, and part of something bigger. There’s a natural reassurance in the way Everybodys show up—not fussy or performative, just honest and human. They value real connection over dramatic gestures, meeting people where they are and helping them feel comfortable in a new situations

✍️ Your Reflection Prompt

How does your brand invite people in—and how do you make them feel once they’re here?

🚀 Take Some Action

Audit your brand entry points.

Where can you add more warmth, clarity, or care to let people know they’re not just a number—they’re seen?

📸 Field Notes from Sara

A peek behind the scenes—what’s been happening at Good + Ready and in life lately.

As you’re reading this, I’m on my annual family lake trip in Minnesota—a tradition we’ve kept going since I was 4 years old. We’re anywhere from 30 to 60 people depending on any given year. It’s peak summer energy: boat rides, communal meals, an impressive spread of cream cheese dips (it is the Midwest), and cool northern nights.

I’m finally putting structure around something I’ve started (and paused) four times—The Artist’s Way. This fall, I’m leading a community-centered 12-week book club through SoloprenHER. If you’ve ever wanted to explore the book with accountability and ease, reply to this email and let me know. Final details coming soon!

And if you’re a B2B service-based business owner and feeling stuck trying to explain what you do and who it’s for, check out my friend Jamie Cox’s Brand Clarity Lab starting in September. Her brain is a wonder and her energy is infectious:)
