Today I want to talk about the invitations you and your brand give out to welcome people in.

You most likely found your way here because you took the ReadyType Quiz. That quiz is an invitation into my world, but a good session with my therapist last week made me realize that it’s not how I deliver my best work or how I connect best.

I’m a one-to-one kind of person. The Lover is part of my ReadyType (along with Magician and Caregiver), and Lovers thrive on deep conversations, intimate connections, and meaningful exchanges. So I’m shifting a few things to better reflect that.

I’m starting something new: a free 15-minute Archetype Insight Chat. It’s for anyone who takes the quiz and wants quick, personalized thoughts from a seasoned brand designer on how to start weaving their archetype into their brand.

It feels like a win for both of us. I get to talk archetypes and meet other creative business owners, and you get a real human eye on your brand. Plus, It’s a simple way for me to share what any collaboration with me actually feels like.

A peek behind the scenes of what’s been happening at Good + Ready and in life lately:

  • The last couple weeks, I’ve helped a past client design a new design template system for a brand I created almost five years ago. It’s been so fun to revisit it with fresh eyes and new tools.
  • I just finalized a travel brand for a repeat client. Their ReadyType is The Novelty Curator (a blend of Creator, Lover, and Sovereign). Can’t wait to share it soon.
  • As I’m writing this, it’s our first below-freezing morning in Louisville. I’m in a turtleneck sweater with every candle lit and a fire going. It might be too early for the tree, but I’m tempted. Why not lean in to the cozy.
